Location Microsites

Located in Lima, Ohio, Follow The Eyes is a full service digital agency focused on building a digital footprint for their clients. FTE has three locations in Lima, Minnesota and Florida, this enabled them to expand their services across the United States.

Beginning as a local company expanding came with challenges such as building trust with clients who ran their business miles from FTE’s headquarters in Lima. FTE implemented Directors of Business Development in each area of service to ensure client had a local point of contact in their region that could work with them in person.

THE challenge

Build trust and connection with clients in Florida and Minnesota. Encompassing the “Big City Talent, Small Town Hospitality” presence FTE strived to maintain.

research & planning

Getting Started

Beginning by sitting with all C-suit executives to determine our pain points, I underwent a series of meetings and research to develop a strategy for pulling more organic views in each location. Working with the social media, digital and copy department we developed a campaign focused around the slogan “Big City Talent, Small Town Hospitality.”

Research

Through research  on other agencies that work in multiple locations I determined that Microsites would be most beneficial to build a better presence in external service areas. I interviewed local clients as well as developed user profiles for each location then began developing keywords and copy to be used in the new site.

Design Development

Once research was complete, copy and keywords we’re approved, I worked towards the building blocks for the website design. The approval committee consisted of all C-Suit executives and each Director of Business Development for each location. Keeping with the inspiration above we focused on building a website that would push conversions and keep a clear concise design as to keep viewers attracted to the information and CTA’s.

The Result

As of Fall 2022 Follow the Eyes has removed their Minnesota location as well as the microsite.
